TECHNICAL OFFICE
The Technical Office is the starting point of the entire
production process. With highly specialized personnel
drawing upon decades of experience in the use of three-dimensional
graphic design tools, the office is able to provide
complete assistance in designing, developing, and adjusting
each specific product requested by the client. The
technical office is supported by a computerized production
management system to constantly monitor the job orders
under production.
SHEET METAL LASER CUTTING
The first stage of the manufacturing process takes place
in the laser cutting department, which guarantees maximum
precision with no burrs, assuring smoothness and a
perfectly perpendicular cut, which are not subject
to predetermined paths. It replaces the use of dies
in small and medium series and allows for the production
of small and large details even with complex shapes.
Current equipment is completely automated and allows
for 24-hour continuous production cycles, with a 4000
x 2000 mm maximum operating range with a maximum power
of 4000W and cuts a maximum gauge of 22mm for common
steel, 12mm for stainless steel, and 5 mm for aluminum.
LASER TUBE CUTTING
Laser tube cutting completes the first phase of manufacturing
by performing precise cuts with no burs on a maximum
diameter of 140mm, up to a gauge of 8mm for common
steel, 5mm for stainless steel, and 2mm for aluminum
(the bar weight must not exceed 15kg per meter).
FORMING
The forming department uses numerically controlled machines,
also employing robots, which allow any forming necessary.
The maximum work length is 4100mm and 320 tons of power.
BENDING
The bending department uses a bending machine with 150mm-diameter
rolls with a width of 1500mm with the possibility of
conical bending
PRESSING
The pressing department completes the deforming phase.
We have presses with a maximum table size of 1300x810mm
with a maximum power of 200 tons.
WELDING
The department specialized in spot welding, manual Mig
and Tig welding, robotic Mig welding, and precision
surface finish, boasts a highly qualified and expert
personnel.
TURNING
The turning department uses numerically controlled lathes
suitable for producing flanges up to a diameter of
670mm with a maximum length of 600mm.
SURFACE TREATMENT
COMA performs surface treatments including epoxy varnish,
cataphoresis, zinc electroplating, etc… managed by
Coma make use of suppliers qualified in various types
of finishes.
ASSEMBLY AND PACKAGING
COMA has a flexible organization and a dynamic structure
allowing them to deal with all of the phases of the
production cycle, integrating all of the mechanical,
electrical, and electronic components with steel structural
work assembly, finishing of the details and packaging.
